We pre-registered the study
before we ran it.
The hypothesis, method, and analysis are filed in public on the Open Science Framework, fixed in advance, so the goalposts cannot move after the data comes in. We publish what we find, a null result as plainly as a positive one. The method that motivated it began with the founder's own data; the study is what tests whether it holds for everyone else.

The things people ask first.
I am a coach or fitter. How does this fit my work?
As a diagnostic and validation layer, not a replacement. It gives you a player baseline that holds between sessions, quantifies the effect of a change you make, and produces a shared reference you and your client can both read. It integrates with how you already work.
Is one golfer's dataset really enough?
No, and we do not claim otherwise. The founding n=1 dataset motivated the method. A formal n=15 crossover study has been pre-registered on the Open Science Framework so the question can be answered with proper statistical authority. We publish what we find, either way.
Do my players need to buy any hardware?
No. Souverain Golf works on top of a TrackMan or equivalent launch monitor you already use, at your range, club, or fitting studio. There is no swing camera, sensor, or wearable to buy.
Is using this on the course allowed?
Yes. The app is designed for pre-round use and is consistent with R&A and USGA Rule 4.3 on the use of equipment and information. It gives a plan before play, not live coaching during the stroke.
Who are your players?
The improvement engine fits handicaps 5 to 25, with 5 to 15 committed improvers the sweet spot, and it is an ideal fit for developing junior and college players. Scratch-and-below players use it for change-detection rather than improvement. We are honest about the ceiling: above roughly a 3 handicap we graduate a player out rather than oversell.
