One model.
End to end.
The app carries a single statistical model of your ball flight from end to end: it learns your envelope at the range, diagnoses what limits your consistency, and proves whether a change actually worked.
It doesn't replace your stack.
It makes it pay off.
You already own the clubs, the launch monitor, the rangefinder, maybe a coach and a lot of hard-earned range time. Each one hands you a number and goes quiet. Souverain Golf is the layer that sits above them and turns all of it into one measured read of the player: what their pattern is, what is limiting it, and whether it is getting better.
Souverain Golf
measure into a verdict
No new hardware. No rip-and-replace. Nothing to abandon. Souverain Golf reads what your tools already produce and gives it back as a measured verdict. It makes the stack you own smarter.
Tracking tells you what happened.
Modeling tells you why, and whether it changed.
Most golf software records your rounds and shows you averages. Souverain Golf fits a statistical model to your shots, then uses it to find the cause and prove the change.
A record of the past.
GPS logs, round histories, and a single average distance per club. Useful for review. Silent at the moment you are standing over the ball.
A diagnosis you can act on.
A five-number envelope of how far you hit it and which way it misses, turned into a ranked account of what is limiting consistency, and whether a change actually moved it.
Trust the number the data earns,
not the one your ego wants.
Improvement stalls on belief: the memory of one good shot, a tweak that felt right, a number you wish were true. Souverain Golf puts a measured number where the guess used to be.
The same discipline runs the whole product: it only tells you something is wrong when the data is sure, and it is just as willing to tell you that you are fine. That is what makes the number worth trusting over the gut.
From first range ball to proof of change.
The same model runs through five connected surfaces. Each one feeds the next.
The Active Session.
A workmode built to survive a live driving range: legible at ten feet, unobtrusive, hands-busy. Log a shot, watch the dispersion fill.
- Three-hero readout. σ_carry, µ_carry, and routine at large scale; secondary metrics fold away.
- Live dispersion ellipse with a collapsible shot log and a wind-normalised, calm-equivalent carry line.
- Ambient to entry, automatically. Phone on the bag; tap to log, NEXT returns you to the ambient view.
- Fix a mistype, don't delete it. Any shot edits inline and re-feeds the model on save.
The Envelope.
The statistical heart of the app. Your Envelope builds as the shots accumulate and firms up once each club has earned it; from then on it is a living model of how you actually hit the ball.
- Five plain-English numbers per club. How far you hit it, how consistent that is, and which way it tends to miss. We explain each one just below, instead of hiding it in notation.
- A dispersion ellipse that fits you. The shape tilts to match your real pattern, with reference rings for scratch, 5, and 15-handicap players so you can see where you stand.
- Versions, trend, and drift. Watch your spread tighten across sessions, compare against an older version, and catch a real change the moment the data is sure.
- Bias surfaced, only when it is earned. The app flags a directional lean for a club only once the miss is a real pattern, not a one-off.
Five numbers describe
your whole game with a club.
Statisticians write them with Greek letters. Here is what each one actually tells you about your golf.
Model to cause.
The engine attributes your spread to what is actually costing you, ranked, so practice starts with the dimension that matters most.
- A ranked cause ledger. Speed, strike, face, and path, each with the share of the spread it owns and its own band of uncertainty.
- Variance-to-drill, when it is earned. A cause is named, and a drill proposed, only on statistically certified blocks, never on a single bad swing.
- Honest about "no fault." When you are dialled in it says so, and offers a stretch instead of inventing a problem.
- Reads your launch-monitor export. No new hardware; the diagnosis runs on the shots you already log.
Cause to a tighter game.
Targeted practice, then a re-measure. The model shows whether the spread really tightened, gated on sample size, so it is progress you can put your name on.
- Change-detection, not wishful thinking. SPRT drift detection confirms a real shift before it claims one, and stays quiet until the data is sure.
- Before and after, in the open. A measured σ_carry then and now, with the percentage change and the sample it rests on.
- Gated on sample size. A change is reported only once enough shots back it, never on a hot afternoon.
- Post-session report card. A picture-first σ hero, outlier review, and shape mix, ready by the time you reach the car.
Built to hand over.
The same model, opened up for the coach, fitter, or facility. A shared, quantified reference that integrates with how you already work.
- Coach view. One toggle expands every metric and the full shot history; toggle back for the clean player view.
- Share with coach. A one-page PDF summary on a read-only, time-limited link.
- Loft-aware fitting. Replace a club and carry the swing forward, with µ re-predicted from the loft delta.
- Universal CSV import. TrackMan, Foresight, Garmin, Rapsodo, and Mevo+, mapped and unit-converted automatically.
Specifications, without the gaps.
Everything the considered buyer wants to confirm, in one honest table.
